BULLFROG RACING TEAM

I was responsible for coming up with the logos and style of the new BullFrog racing teams. Currently Bullfrog has a rally team and a FIA formula 3 team, but there are moves to other areas too( Can't show these). I really enjoyed this project as it was all about mixing up the current look of the existing motorsport teams, that are generally quite serious/corporate looking. jcbully wanted to disrupt this view of motorsport and create a more aggressive look, with elements of heavy metal music and cartoon based graphics. The original logo was just the shield but jcbully wanted another secondary logo showing a British trooper influenced from the famous Iron Maiden trooper, charging into battle. It turned out the trooper actually looked better on the car wraps.

​I also did some After Effects logo stings for promoting the new brand.

Here are the other variations of the logo I played around with until we got to the final product. I always think it is nice to see the ones that didn’t make it as you understand the creators thought process, I love buying the concept art books for films and often prefer the concepts over the final thing.
