When the collector buys a sticker pack they can scan each sticker, using the app, to upload it into their digital sticker album. Not only can they create a digital collection, they also unlock unique videos, created for the app.
Below is the intro sequence for the app when it is first opened. I created a quick intro animation in After Effects to give the opening a bit more punch. All of the UI elements followed the same branding as the physical album.
Each sticker from the album is numbered and categorised. In the album the different categories are represented by colours, so as a nod to this we created a white smoke animation that we could tint in scene with the colours from the album. Every time you change category, the smoke will fade to another colour.
To add a sticker to your digital album, the user simply needs to scan the front of the physical sticker and it will automatically add it to the collection. Users can tap the sticker in the collection to see it up close and spin it round to see the back.
